WHO WE ARE
The Vietnam Public Health Association (VPHA) is a professional social organization operating in the field of health care, established in 2002 by a decision of the Ministry of Home Affairs. To date, the association has successfully developed a network of members in 12 provinces and cities across the country, with over 6,000 members. We are proud to be a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and a member of the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA).
VISION:
The Vietnam Public Health Association aims to become a reputable unit nationally, regionally, and internationally in training, scientific research, and building models of health care and protection for the people.
MISSION:
To protect the people of Vietnam from serious health threats and to strive to ensure access to health care services for the community, especially those living in remote areas or ethnic minorities.
TASKS:
Advocacy based on scientific evidence: Promote and support health policy decisions based on evidence and scientific research. Building public health practice models: Develop and promote effective practice models in the field of public health. Developing the Public Health Journal: Publish and disseminate public health information through specialized articles. Public Health Research and Training Center: Establish and develop a professional research and training center in the field of public health.
