Neither Complacent Nor Panicked
Although the pandemic is showing signs of resurgence in some countries, the Ministry of Health confirms that the situation in Vietnam remains under control. The slight increase after the April 30th and May 1st holiday period was expected due to increased travel and gatherings. However, given the current characteristics of COVID-19 circulation, most cases are mild and do not require hospitalization.
The Ministry of Health recommends that the public continue to follow preventive measures:
The Ministry of Health continues to closely coordinate with the WHO to monitor global developments and respond promptly and flexibly, ensuring COVID-19 does not affect public health.
