Vietnam Public Health Association organizes training to improve the capacity of malaria prevention project coordinators

On December 19-20, 2024, at the Vietnam Public Health Association office, the Association successfully organized a training course for provincial coordinators under the project "Maximizing the Role of Private Healthcare in the Final Stages of Vietnam's Malaria Control and Elimination Plan."

The training aimed to enhance the capacity for managing the project's reporting system, equipping coordinators with a thorough understanding of procedures, reporting templates, and solutions to challenges encountered during project implementation. The training content included:

  • Guidance on using the reporting system and addressing common errors.
  • Practical exercises on verifying and reconciling reports between private healthcare providers and specialized units.
  • Skills development in using digital tools to check and aggregate data.

The training course witnessed the full and active participation of all coordinators. Following the program, the coordinators were assessed to have significantly improved their skills in data management and processing, enabling them to better support private healthcare facilities effectively.
